Stored Data Sets

The dBadge2 simultaneously records and computes all noise data for every measurement run. The comprehensive set of data containing all of the below parameters is available to view and analyse within the Casella Insight PC application or using the download utility. The Dosimeter Set-ups D1, D2 and D3 define which parameters are displayed on the instrument itself but all values are automatically stored in the memory of the dBadge2 for download.

Get Connected!

Monitor your dBadge2 remotely with the supporting Airwave App on your mobile device.  There’s no need to disturb the wearer when you can view the status or even start, stop or pause the measurement run.

Octave Band Analysis

Once only found on an advanced hand-held sound level meter, octave band analysis is available as an option on the dBadge2 Pro personal noise dosimeter model.Overall LEQ and LMAX values are displayed both on screen in graphical format and in a table format when downloaded.

Intrinsically Safe

Intrinsically Safe versions of the dBadge2 personal noise dosimeter are available.  The dBadge2 personal noise dosimeter has been designed specifically to be used in potentially explosive area in the oil and gas, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Multiple Simulated Dosimeters

The dBadge2 personal noise dosimeter has a ‘multiple simulated dosimeter’ capability to display noise exposure results according to differing regional or international protocols.  These simulated dosimeters simply define the measurement parameters displayed on screen and includes ISO, OSHA, MSHA and ACGIH set-ups.

Color Display

The dBadge2™ personal noise dosimeter takes full advantage of the OLED display by color coding screens, status and alarms.  This aids data interpretation in the field, giving a strong visual indicator when trigger levels have been exceeded.

Motion Sensing

The built in motion sensor expresses a worker’s movement as a percentage of the time that motion has been detected during a measurement run.  This means that you can be confident that the dBadge2™ personal noise dosimeter has been worn for the entire shift.

Audio Recording

Available on the Plus and Pro models, the audio recording option allows you to record voice notes for a measurement run such as an employee’s name or task.

Combined Docking Station and Charger

When placed in any of the 3 pockets, the dBadge2™ personal noise dosimeter will begin to charge, progress being displayed on the screen of the meter.  The first pocket has a USB symbol and when placed in there, an individual dBadge2™ can download data, either via a Download Utility directly into Excel or via the Insight Data Management Software specialist dBadge2™ plugin.
