The Dwyer Thermal Anemometer measures air velocity using a thermal bead that detects changes in temperature due to air movement. It has four selectable ranges for velocity measurement (500 to 15,000 FPM). Units displayed for air velocity measurement include feet per minute (FPM) and meters per second (m/sec).

The probe is made out of stainless steel for high durability and is etched with insertion depth marks that range from 0-8 inches and 0-20 cm. The Dwyer Thermal Anemometer also measures air temperature in °F and °C.

Range Number Velocity, FPM Velocity, m/sec Accuracy
1 0-500 0-3.0 ±3% F.S.
2 0-1500 0-7.0 ±3% F.S.
3 0-5000 0-30 ±4% F.S.
4 0-15000 0-75 ±5% F.S.
