The Stainless Steel Hand Auger is used for augering shallow holes in fine grained soils. The rental includes the auger head, T-handle, and up to 3 of the 3ft extensions. The auger head bucket is 3.25" diameter and creates a roughly 3.625" diameter hole. |

AMS Stainless Steel 2" X 6" Core Sampler w/ Slide Hammer Rental
The AMS Core Sampler collects soil core samples into liners that are made out of stainless steel. The liners are easily transfered and collect relatively undisturbed soil cores, making lab and chemical analysis easy. The rental includes up to 3 of the 5ft extensions, the core cup and cap, stainless steel liners, slide hammer, and T-handle. Plastic liners can be ordered by request. |

Wildco Hand Corer Rental <<click for details
The Wildco Hand Corer is used for shallow coring in fresh, salt, or brackish waters. For deeper waters, 5ft extensions are available. The hand corer works by creating a partial vacuum, which holds the sample in place and helps prevent washout. As the tube is pulled up, the polyurethane flutter valve on the head assembly tightly seals the upper end of the sampler. Sample Liners and eggshell catchers are purchased separately.

The AMS Manual Soil Vapor Probe is constructed out of stainless steel and features hallow probes and vent holes for gas entry. The probe body is 1/2 inch in diameter and 3 feet long. It includes the cross handle, tile probe base, two 3' tile probe extensions, barbed adapter, adapter for hammer, and slide hammer.

The AMS Soil Probe Kit uses an AMS slide hammer or an electric rotary drive hammer and extensions to insert a dedicated stainless steel tip or the reusable retractable tip to the desired sampling depth. Teflon tubing is attached to a barb fitting on the vapor tip for remote sampling from the surface.
