| The Model 410 Peristaltic Pump operates to the suction lift limit, allowing vacuum pumping or pressure delivery of liquids or gases. It is ideal for sample removal from shallow wells and surface water. The mechanical peristaltic operation is effective to depths of 28 feet at sea level, being limited only by the suction lift limit.
The Solinst Peristaltic Pump has a variable pumping rate and can deliver from 10 ml/min in "sample" mode and as much as 3 L/min in "purge" mode, and can use either 3/8" or 5/8" OD silicone tubing
Construction
The Solinst Peristaltic Pump is compact and lightweight, measuring 13" x 4.5" x 9" and weighing only 9.5 pounds. The metal case has its own handle and is very durable, water resistant, and has no grates or openings.
Tubing
The standard pump tubing is 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD medical grade silicone, which attaches easily to a variety of down well tubing. Smaller diameter ¼" ID x 3/8" OD tubing can be used with the included tubing adaptor. To give high sample integrity, the sample comes in contact with only the tubing. The tubing is easy to clean or replace. To avoid cross contamination between wells, it is recommended that the tubing be replaced between wells. Approximately 2 feet of Silicone tubing is required to run through pump head assembly.
Power
The pump operates using an external 12 volt DC power supply at 3-5 amps maximum. The variable speed motor is reversible and is equipped with a 5 amp internal fuse and blocking type reverse polarity protection.
A power cord 10 feet long is included with each pump. The power cord is fitted with alligator clips for easy connection to almost any 12 volt DC battery, such as a car battery or small 12 V x 6.5 AH gel cell.
