The Apex series represents one of the most reliable, high performance personal air samplers available. Born out of extensive marketing and design research, and built on over 40 years of experience in the personal air sampling industry, the Apex is a completely new design whichutilizes the most up to date and innovative design technologies, has true volumetric flow control circuitry, and offers many advanced features over its competitors, while still retaining the ability to be intuitive and easy to use.
Built to comply to EN1232/MDHS14/3 and NIOSH0600 and with a flow range from 5ml* to 5000ml/min the pump is suitable for most sampling applications including solvent, fume, gases, asbestos and general personal sampling regimes .
With real time LCD display of flow rate, volume sampled, elapsed sample time, ambient temperature, current operating mode and program details and with an all new patented (pending) method of volumetric flow control based on outlet pressure with fully digital control circuitry, the unit offers extremely stable flow control for long periods between calibrations.
It is the most compact and versatile true 5l/min pump available on the market.

The enhanced Apex Pro is a fully programmable, enhanced version of the Apex personal sampling pump. It has on board data-logging and is capable of storing up to 100 sets of data; which include, start and stop times, flow rates, average sample temperature, volume sampled and any error events that may have occurred.
Whenever the pump is started and stopped data logging is enabled. This data is increasingly being demanded for auditing and legislative purposes. 
Communication to the Apex Pro is via the infra red interface connector. This can be connected to the PC via the RS232 port. Once the program is running on the PC, it will detect any pump within the beam and data automatically downloaded.
The Apex Pro can also be configured via the software with 3 additional program modes of operation that can be utilized and uploaded into the pump:
Duration:
The duration program is available for both the Apex standard and Programmable version, and a sampling duration can be entered via the pump keypad. This allows the supervisor or user to issue the pump in the knowledge that it will cease sampling at the end of the duration set.
TWA:
This is where the operator needs to sample a set volume but possibly needs this to be a representative sample over a whole sampling period. (Some NIOSH methods work on this principle.) The required sample duration is entered into the software and then the required on sample time is calculated by the user and entered in. The pump will switch on and off throughout the sampling duration.
Time Schedule Program
These are two real-time scheduling programs which allow the operator to pre-program the pump with start & stop times. Up to 9 on/off routines can be made for each program.
